Nico: (Nico enters) sup guys?
Jake: that I Love Korea! such a nice place! (damn!!)
Chloe: yeah, ako rin. sobra. (ouch.)
Nico: mukhang seryoso usapan natin ah.
Jake: no, not really. just talking about Jeju and Korea.
Chloe: yeah. and how beautiful the place is.
Nico: sobrang ganda lang talaga dito!
Jake: umm, guys. iwan ko muna kayo ha. kayo naman mag-usap. bihis lang ako sa room. then maybe sleep na. goodnight. =) (can’t look at Chloe straight to the eye)
Nico: sige bro. goodnight! sunod lang ako later =)
Chloe: bye. goodnight (can’t look at Jake straight to the eye)
Jake was rushing to the room. He can’t help but feel ashamed. When he reached their room, he looked at himself in the mirror.
(LIKE THIS..)
He told himself …
Jake: ang tanga mo! pinahiya mo lang sarili mo! ang duwag mo!
After 10 minutes of not being himself, he calmed down and sat on the bed.
Jake: I love her. but di niya dapat malaman.
After 30 minutes, he felt asleep. And when he felt asleep, Chloe and Nico were done talking. Chloe was on her room, puzzled and confused.
Chloe: ano ba? wag mo paasahin sarili mo please. hindi si Jake yung tipong magugustuhan ka. he’s quiet, shy. he’ll never like you. wake up Chloe. in fact, he’s helping you to know Nico more. andiyan naman si Nico, he’s already inlove with you.
Just like Jake, after 10 minutes of being not her usual self, she calmed down.
Chloe: no, it can’t be Nico. i like Jake, its final. its just that di nya pwede malaman.
After a while, she felt asleep.

KOREA: DAY 2
Its their second day in Korea. The three met up at the hotel lobby.
Jake started recording again. But he and Chloe are still clueless that they felt the same way with each other.
Chloe: goodmorning =)
Nico: goodmorning! mas good ka pa sa morning =)
Jake: (looked at Chloe and whispered) calm down =)
Chloe: (looked at Jake and whispered) don’t worry. its okay. i got it. =)
The plans for their second day was just to have fun. They walked the streets of Korea, took some pictures. It was a great day for Jake because he can record many things since it was a day spent for their own happiness.The three friends spent the afternoon on a shore again. Chloe was in her summer get up wearing her bikini top, a see through boyfriend shirt, mini shorts, aviator shades, and her hair bun-fixed. As well as the boys, they were in their own summer get up. And since it was Chloe and Jake’s deal for Chloe to spend time with Nico more, Chloe and Nico were ahead again. Jake was left and recorded Nico and Chloe’s happy moments.
Jake: (deep inside) kahit medyo masakit, as long as you’re happy =)
Nico and Chloe were always ahead while Jake was just recording everything.
Nico brought with him a deck of cards..
Nico: alam mo sabi nila malalaman mo raw soulmate mo pag tinapon mo ‘tong cards sa ere.
Chloe: tapos? ang labo naman ata? ganun na lang? (laughs)
Nico: (laughs) hindi. if the guy gets the King of hearts and the girl gets the Queen of hearts, it means they’re meant to be. sila ang mag- soulmate.
Chloe: talaga? sige mga subukan natin.
Nico: (throws the cards in the air)
Chloe got the Queen of hearts, but Nico got the Jack of hearts.
Chloe: (smiles) alam mo di totoo yan. hahaha. (trying to comfort Nico)
Nico: (smiled) sana.
Chloe: ano ka ba, wag ka ngang emotero.
Jake got this recorded in his videocam.
Their next stop was in the temple. They went inside the temple to see what Korean people do.
Outside was a woman who had a stand. She had a cardboard saying “Know your Soulmate, your destiny”. (Jake was still recording)
Nico: uy! try natin yun!
Chloe: sige!
According to the woman, if the pair picks the same number they’re meant for each other.
They then picked their numbers..
Chloe: i got 18. =)
Nico: mine is 23 =(
Chloe: (smiled) sus, di rin yan totoo. (trying to comfort Nico again)
Nico: hayy, sana nga.
After spending the day out, they headed to their hotel. They went swimming.
Nico: sa Jeju na nga pala tayo bukas.
Chloe: oo nga. ang bilis.
Jake: yeah, its gonna be our third day tomorrow. and we’ll be here for four days lang.
Nico: we should get more crazy! hahaha.
Jake: gusto mo lang talaga sulitin ang pagiging independent! (laughs)
After their night swimming, the gang decided to stay up late for their last night in Korea. While Nico was dressing, up Jake and Chloe were left alone again. They had another time talking. But still clueless.
Chloe: alam mo, you were right.
Jake: right about what?
Chloe: about Nico. he’s a nice person naman pala talaga.
Jake: i told you. he’s just annoying at times. (laughs)
(dead air)
Jake: alam mo, may na realize din ako sa trip na ‘to.
Chloe: talaga? ano yun?
Jake: umm…
Chloe: ano? (smiles)
Jake: that i ….
Chloe: that you …?
Jake: umm, that i… ( should i tell her??)

KOREA: DAY 1
Its their first day in Korea. They were checked in to a 5 star hotel, courtesy of Chloe’s mom. Nico was the one who woke up first then he woke up Jake.
Nico: bro! gising na! its our first day as independents!
Jake: eto na. sira! pansamantala lang tayo magiging independent. its like for 4 days lang. (laughs)
After they dressed up, they went out to have breakfast. Jake started recording again. Chloe was in a separate room so the boys went to her room.
‘knock knock’ …
Chloe: oh. it must be them. mga ‘to talaga, excited. (laughs)
Nico: hey! goodmorning!
Chloe: hi guys!
Jake: say hi to the camera! (smiles)
Chloe: hi!
Because Chloe was done dressing up, they went down to grab some breakfast.
They already got a table and sat down. Nico got some food (it was buffet), Chloe texted her mom, Jake was fixing his videocam because they were about to eat. Jake and Chloe were left in the table.
Jake: sooo, how’s “Operation get to know Nico more”? (smiles)
Chloe: umm, so far, so good. nag bond naman kami kahapon. and i think i should get to know him more talaga. he’s nice naman pala. (laughs)
Jake: sabi ko nga diba. makulit lang talaga yun. (laughs)
The three spent the whole afternoon going to the top malls in Korea and shopping. Chloe bought dresses and clothes since Korea is well known for fashion. Nico spent his money buying basketball shoes, gym bags, and other things he needed for basketball. Jake bought some painting materials, and other things that he might need for filming and accessories for his cameras.
The group had their dinner by the beach. They had candle-light dinner with live band performing in front of them.
After having dinner, Nico felt tired.
Nico: guys, pwede ko ba kayong iwan?
Chloe: huh? bakit? eh ikaw kaya ‘tong sobrang excited. (laughs)
Jake: oo nga bro, bakit?
Nico: eh kasi naman i feel so sleepy. sobrang pagod.
Chloe: umm, (looked at Jake) sure ka?
Nico: yeah. pasensya na guys ha.
Chloe: o sige, sige. ingat ka pauwi ha.
Nico: yeah, don’t worry.
Jake: ingat bro ha, bye. =)
Jake and Chloe were left alone again. Jake was a little happy because he can spend some time with Chloe again. Later on…
Chloe: hali ka! duon tayo umupo sa may beach.
Jake: sige, tara!
They sat by the shore on a starry night.
Chloe: ang ganda noh?
Jake: oo nga. i owe your mom a lot. hahaha.
Chloe: naku! don’t worry. haha. (looked at Jake)
Jake: (smiled while looking at Chloe)
Chloe: alam mo, kahit magkabarkada tayo, ang dami ko pang di alam tungkol sa’yo. eh kasi naman ang tahimik mo. magkwento ka naman.
Jake: haha. ano naman gusto mo ikwento ko? =)
Chloe: mmm, bakit ba you always bring with you your videocam?
Jake: (smiled) ganito kasi yan eh. kasi nga diba my parents died when i was 7..
Chloe: (nakikinig lang while looking at Jake in the eyes)
Jake: … after that, i realized na life is really unpredictable. di mo alam kung ano mangyayari sa’yo. so i thought na every second or every moment of your life should be captured before it runs away. i thought of recording everything so that by the time i’m old, i can watch it again and show it to my children. its also my way of appreciating life =)
Chloe: ahh. kaya naman pala. alam mo, ang swerte ng magiging asawa mo.
Jake: bakit naman?
Chloe: kasi napaka bait mo. tapos napaka appreciative mo sa lahat ng bagay. small or big =)
Jake: haha. naks naman! (deep inside: ‘sana ikaw yung magiging maswerteng babae’)
They looked at each other’s eyes for five seconds.
Chloe: (kumalas) its almost 12 na pala. lets go?
Jake: tara. =)
They went straight to their hotel. Jake dropped Chloe off her hotel room and said their goodnights.
When Chloe entered her room, she changed her clothes and brushed her teeth. After, she went straight to her bed and started to think things over.
Chloe: bakit ganun? when i looked at his eyes, parang i felt a spark. why do i think i like him? he’s mr. perfect. he has everything i look for in a guy.
Chloe tried to sleep but she really can’t..
Chloe: okay, its official. i like him. but di na pwedeng malaman.
On the other side, Jake was doing the same thing..
Jake: when i looked at her eyes.. it was just so perfect. everything’s perfect. i think i already love her. pero di nya pwedeng malaman

Sunday morning…
The three even got more excited. It was their day. Their flight to Korea will be at 12:00 pm. They were all rushing, worrying that they might forget something. Because Nico was the one who was really excited, he was on the car. While Jake was still thinking over things that he should bring. Later on, he got inside the car.
Nico: bro, wala ka na bang nalimutan?
Jake: wala na, i think.
Nico: yung videocam mo?
Jake: oh shiii! oo nga pala. thanks for reminding bro! wait, i’ll just get it upstairs.
After he got his videocam, they went on. While on the road, Nico couldn’t help but imagine things when they get there. And as usual, Jake recorded it. There was never a moment that he did not record.
When they reached the airport, they bid their goodbyes to their family.
Nico: bye dad!, bye mom! (he ran papasok sa aiport)
Nico’s mom and dad: bye son! ingat!
Jake: tito, tita. thank you po talaga ha. thanks for everything. i owe you a lot. don’t worry, pagbalik ko bawi po ako sa inyo =)
Nico’s dad: you’re welcome son. anything para sa bestfriend ko (he was referring to Jake’s dad)
Jake: (smiled) sige po tito, tita. bye. ingat po kayo dito. will see you again on Thursday. =)
Nico’s dad and mom: sige. ingat rin kayo. =)
Nico: (shouted) bro! halika ka na!
Jake immediately followed Nico. (he started recording)
While they were lining up for the check-in, Chloe came.
Nico: oh! andito ka na pala! hi! (beso)
Chloe: yeah, sorry i’m late. (beso back)
Jake: (still recording)
Chloe: Jake! hahaha.
Jake: hey! =) *whispered* just be nice to him. remember what i told you =)
Chloe: yeah. i want to get to know him more. who knows diba, baka magustuhan ko siya.
Jake: (smiled) *deep inside: ‘wag naman sana, pero kung masaya ka okay lang’*
After they checked in, they headed straight to their waiting lounges. Chloe started hanging out with Nico since she wanted to know him more. Nico and Chloe were ahead of Jake, Jake was a little left out. But he did not mind it.
Jake: (deep inside: ‘its okay. i understand. if were not meant to be, its okay. as long as she’s happy’) GUYS! say hi to the camera! (he was still recording)
Nico and Chloe: (faced the camera and waved)

After they met at the coffee shop, they had dinner. And as usual, Chloe is still in the middle of Jake and Nico. But Chloe still felt uncomfortable.
Jake: (looked at Chloe)
Chloe: yes? is there something you want to tell me?
Jake: ummm, are you okay?
Chloe: sort of. si Nico kasi.
Jake: hahaha. sabi ko na nga ba. don’t worry, masasanay ka rin.
Chloe: sana (smiled)
After dinner, they headed home. It was friday and they were set to go to Korea by Sunday. Because of excitement, Nico already packed his things.
Jake: why so excited bro? (while recording)
Nico: dude, Korea yun. its like one of the places that i want to go to. tapos tayong tatlo pa.
Jake: Hahaha. And I’m sure may ibang rason pa jan.
Nico: what do you mean?
Jake: umm, Chloe? (smiles)
Nico: oh yeah. parang magkapatid na nga tayo. alam mo lahat. (laughs) its also another thing why i’m excited.
Jake: obviously. haha. i’ll go ahead bro. goodnight.
Nico: goodnight!
Jake then headed to his room. He checked out some things in his cabinet that he might bring with him to the trip. He prepared some stuffs so that it will be easy for him to pack up by tomorrow. Then someone texted him. It was from Chloe …
Chloe: Hey! =) You still up?
Jake was surprised. But he replied, then it went on… (he laid down on his bed)
Jake: hey! yeah. is there something wrong? napatext ka ata bigla? hahaha =)
Chloe: wala naman. bakit, bawal ba magtext? kabarkada nga tayo diba? hahaha.
Jake: di naman. lol. bakit, di ba kayo nagtetext ni Nico?
Chloe: nope =)
Jake: ahhh. =)
Chloe: excited ka na ba? for Korea?
Jake: syempre naman. tayong tatlo lang yun noh. hahaha.
Jake couldn’t help but be kilig. He hugged his pillow tight.
Chloe: what do you think will happen when we get there?
Jake: umm, Bb. Pilipinas ba ‘to? loljk. i think we’ll have fun naman, for sure. its like we just talked about it sa school then now its gonna happen. and don’t worry, i’ll capture or record every single moment there para pag grow up natin, we can watch it over again and look back to the fun times. and i think you’ll know Nico more. you’ll understand him and you’ll not get irritated by him na. =)
Chloe: grabe! (applause. lol) ibang-iba ka talaga kay Nico. haha. sana nga. i want to get to know Nico more. sayang, gwapo pa naman sya. lol. sige i’ll sleep na. goodnight, Jake =)
Jake: hahaha. don’t worry. goodnight, Chloe =))
After they texted, Jake covered his face with his pillow and shouted. He just kept on smiling and told himself “Its official. I like her =’)”.
